IN THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE OF JACKSON COUNTY, MISSOURI Title A RESOLUTION authorizing execution of a Memorandum of Understanding with American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, Local 1707. Intro RESOLUTION #12274, June 29, 1998 INTRODUCED BY Victor E. Callahan, County Legislator Body WHEREAS, the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, Local 1707, is the agent for certain county employees in the Corrections Department, to meet and confer with the County about rates of wages, hours of work, working conditions and procedures for the settlement of differences as those matters relate to said employees; and, WHEREAS, the County and the Union have negotiated a successor Memorandum of Understanding, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, for the purpose of resolving all outstanding issues regarding rates of wages, hours of work, working conditions and procedures for the settlement of differences; now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Memorandum of Understanding be, and is hereby approved and that the County Executive be, and is hereby authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of the County. Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
