INTRODUCED BY Fred Arbanas, County Legislator

 

 

Body

WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department has issued a Position Statement regarding the protection and restoration of the Little Blue Trace Park, a copy of which is attached hereto; and,

 

WHEREAS, this statement emphasizes the department’s intention to protect the park, restore it to its actual state, and extend the park’s trail system; and,

 

WHEREAS, the Legislature has reviewed the Position Statement and determined that the views espoused therein are in the best interests of the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,

 

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature fully endorses the Parks and Recreation Department’s Position Statement on the Little Blue Trace Park.

 

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
