AN ORDINANCE enabling the Parks and Recreation Department to partially fund tree replacement at Longview Lake Campground under the T.R.I.M. II (Tree Resource Improvement and Maintenance II) program by appropriating $5,875.00 from the unappropriated surplus of the 2004 Grant Fund to cover the Longview Lake Campground Tree Resource Improvement grant from the Missouri Department of Conservation and authorizing the County Executive to execute a cooperative agreement with the Missouri Department of Conservation relating to the tree replacement project.

WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation department has been awarded a grant for 60% of actual cost or $5,875.00, whichever is less, by the Missouri Department of Conservation, which provides funds for tree replacement at Longview Lake Campground; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place the grant funds in the proper spending accounts; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be and hereby is made:

Effective Date: This ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
