Body
WHEREAS, the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education has awarded a grant to the Family Court Division of the 16th Circuit Court for its National School Lunch Program, Juvenile Detention Food Service Program, for February 2, 2010, through May 2, 2010; and,
WHEREAS, this program is used for replacement of kitchen equipment in the Juvenile Detention Kitchen, which provides meals for detained adolescents; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary in order to place the grant funds in the proper spending accounts; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation from the fund balance of the 2010 Grant Fund be and hereby is made:
