Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 15712, dated November 28, 2005, the County awarded twelve month term and supply contracts for the furnishing of police supplies and ammunition for use by various departments, to Ed Roehr Safety of St. Louis, MO, Gil Hebard Guns of Knoxville, IL, Alamar Uniforms of Kansas City, MO, and Galls, Inc., of Lexington, KY, under the terms and conditions of Electronic Solicitation No. BB200595, as the lowest and best bids per item; and,

WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing now recommends a twelve month extension of the contracts with Ed Roehr Safety of St. Louis, MO, Gil Hebard Guns of Knoxville, IL, Alamar Uniforms of Kansas City, MO, and Galls, Inc., of Lexington, KY, commencing December 5, 2006, and terminating December 4, 2007, under the terms and conditions of Electronic Solicitation No. BB200595; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the extension be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Director be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the extension; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contracts and extension, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agency are contained in the then current Jackson County budget.
