WHEREAS, the County requires the relocation of certain water lines within the City of Blue Springs in connection with Liggett Road Improvements, Project No. 2449; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works recommends the execution of an Intergovernmental Cooperative Agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto, providing that the City's Water Department will reimburse the County for the cost of the relocation in an amount not to exceed $12,000.00; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to enter into the attached Intergovernmental Cooperative Agreement with the City of Blue Springs, for the relocation of water lines in connection with Liggett Road Improvements, Project No. 2449.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
