Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 166-94 for the furnishing of fasteners for use county-wide to provide for county-wide needs for the upcoming one- year period; and,

WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon bids from the following:

Mo-Kan Fasteners $7,500.00
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO

Beverly Industrial Tools & Fasteners 199% higher
Kansas City (Clay County), MO

Service Supply Co. 233% higher
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO

and,

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Mo-Kan Fasteners of Kansas City, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent sufficient appropriations to he using spending agencies have heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget.
