Body
WHEREAS, it has become necessary, in connection with the Tapscott Bridge Project, Parcel #2, No. 2404, to acquire a right-of-way over, and to cause certain damage to, the property of a certain property owner, Michael A. Blatt, in the amount of $3,400.00; and,
WHEREAS, the owners have agreed to convey said right-of-way, and to settle the claim for damages and has executed a conveyance in favor of the County in consideration of the total payment of $3,400.00; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Director of the Department of Finance issue a check in the amount of $3,400.00 in the name of Michael A. Blatt, and that the check be delivered to the Department of Public Works, c/o Martha Poe, Engineering Division, for appropriate disposition.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
