Body
WHEREAS, Sam and Lindsey Porter of Independence, MO, disappeared in June 2004; and,
WHEREAS, Lamar Advertising is donating billboard space in an effort to solicit information that may lead to the whereabouts of the children ; and,
WHEREAS, Lamar Advertising is providing a much needed service to our community by assisting local law enforcement agencies in difficult criminal investigations ; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature commends Lamar Advertising for its extraordinary efforts in assisting local law enforcement and the families of crime victims by providing critical information with high visibility.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
