WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal bids under Electronic Solicitation No. BB200330 for the furnishing of 12" HDPE-SDR17 pipe for use by the Parks and Recreation Department; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon bids from the following:
BIDDER Price Per Foot Grand Total for 1,600 ft.
CES Industrial Piping Supply $8.96 $14,336.00
Lee's Summit, MO
Industrial Sales Co. $9.49 $15,184.00
Olathe, KS
Pro Fitting, Inc. $11.90 $19,040.00
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO
and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to CES Industrial Piping Supply of Lee's Summit, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the best bid; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
