Body
WHEREAS, the County desires to purchase one 1993 Ford LTD Crown Victoria sedan, VIN #2FACP71W5PX172885, for use by the Prosecuting Attorney's office; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Purchasing pursuant to Section 1040.02 of the Jackson County Code, 1984 recommends the purchase of the vehicle from the Missouri State Highway Patrol; and,
WHEREAS, Section 1064.00, Jackson County Code, 1984 requires that for any such purchase in excess of $5,000, the Director of Purchasing shall submit the purchase to the County Legislature for approval; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri that the purchase from the Missouri State Highway Patrol be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the purchase; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Revenue is authorized to make all payments, including final payments on the contract.
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
