INTRODUCED BY Bill Petrie, County Legislator

Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 44-02 for the furnishing of small parts washer service and fluids disposal for use by the Public Works Department; and,

WHEREAS, he has received as the only two bids thereon, bids from the following:
VENDOR

Heritage Crystal Clean, LLC
Elgin, IL

Safety-Kleen Systems, Inc.
Columbia, SC

and,

WHEREAS, he has recommended that award be made to Heritage -Crystal Clean of Elgin, Illinois, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid as set forth in the attached analysis; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agency are contained in the then current Jackson County budget.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
