BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:
Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RR a tract of land described as follows:
A 9.5 ñ acre tract generally located 645 feet east of Miller Road on north side of Mo. KK Highway and specifically described as:
A part of the S.E. 1/4 of the S.E. 1/4 of Section 31, Township 47, Range 29, in Jackson County, Missouri and being herein described as beginning at a point 645.01 feet West of the S.E. corner of said 1/4 1/4; said point being on the South Line of said 1/4 1/4; thence N 88 14'15" W continuing along said South line for 353.00 feet; thence N 2 04'51" E for a distance of 1346.78 feet to the North Line of said 1/4 1/4; thence S 87 51'57" E along said North Line for 92.51 feet; thence S 2 21'30" W for 250 feet; thence S 87 51'57" E for 267.00 feet; thence S 2 21'30" W for a distance of 1094.50 feet to the point of beginning.
Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Donald Beasley (RZ-97-060), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on March 20, 1997, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning...Attorney
