WHEREAS, by Resolution 17273, dated May 5, 2010, the Legislature did authorize the allocation of one-half of the budgeted Anti-Drug Sales Tax funds for the Sheriff's Office's 2010 Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) program, and;
WHEREAS, the COMBAT Administration now recommends that the remaining balance of $40,448.00 in the Sheriff's Office's Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund be transferred to its 2010 DARE program; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive has recommended said transfer; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer be made within the 2010 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund:
