WHEREAS, as a result of the widening of Liggett Road, the Director of Public Works recommends the execution of the attached cooperative agreement with Missouri Gas Energy (MGE) to provide for a gas main relocation in connection with Liggett Road Improvements, Project No. 2449; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to this agreement, the County will prepare the gas line trench, the costs of which will be reimbursed by MGE in the approximate amount of $5,000.00; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to enter into the attached Cooperative Agreement with MGE, for a gas main relocation in connection with the Liggett Road Improvements, Project No. 2449.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
