Body
WHEREAS, the COMBAT Commission has recommended funding for the Resource Development Institute ("RDI") for the facilitation of the issuance of requests for proposals and evaluation of the proposals received for anti-drug prevention services, at cost to the County not to exceed $44,400.00; and,
WHEREAS, the Commission recommends that bids not be solicited for these services, because of RDI's unique familiarity with COMBAT and the work required; and,
WHEREAS, RDI will perform the full scope of services in connection with the request for proposals and evaluation of the proposals, in a similar manner to the services formerly performed by COMBAT Commission staff; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County the attached Consulting Agreement with Resource Development Institute of Kansas City, Missouri, at a cost to the County not to exceed $44,400.00; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
