Body
WHEREAS, the Prosecuting Attorney and the Jackson County Circuit Court, Family Court Division recommend a Supplemental Cooperative Agreement for Jackson County Family Court Staff with the Missouri Department of Social Services, Family Support Division, Child Support Enforcement for the period July 1, 2009, through June 30, 2010; and,

WHEREAS, this Agreement provides the mechanism by which certain costs incurred by the Family Court Division can be reimbursed to the County by the Missouri Department of Social Services, Family Support Division, Child Support Enforcement; and,

WHEREAS, this Agreement is in the best interests of the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens of the County; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be, and hereby is, authorized to execute the attached Supplemental Agreement for Jackson County Family Court Staff with the Missouri Department of Social Services, Family Support Division.

Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
