A RESOLUTION authorizing the County Executive to execute an agreement with the City of Lee's Summit, Missouri, and Diamond Development, Incorporated, in connection with the Little Blue Trace Park, for construction of a storm water line.

Body
WHEREAS, Diamond Development, Incorporated has submitted a request to construct a storm water line across the Little Blue Trace; and,
WHEREAS, the County has determined that construction of the storm water line will have no adverse effect on the park; and,
WHEREAS, the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers has reviewed and approved the project; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Lee's Summit has agreed to maintain the storm water line once installed; and,
WHEREAS, to effect this construction, the County, the City of Lee's Summit, Missouri, and Diamond Development, Incorporated, have negotiated the attached agreement, at no cost to the County; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the attached agreement is hereby approved and that the County Executive is hereby authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of the County...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
