Body
WHEREAS, Joseph Carl Koenig, a member of Boy Scout Troop 88 since 2000, has successfully completed all requirements to attain Scouting's highest honor, the rank of Eagle Scout; and,
WHEREAS, Joseph, son of James and Mary Koenig, has earned over 30 merit badges; and,
WHEREAS, Joseph is a member of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say having achieved the levels of Foxman (2003), Brave (2004), Warrior (2005), and Firebuilder (2006); and,
WHEREAS, Joseph is a member of the Order of the Arrow, having reached the level of Ordeal (2004) and Brotherhood (2005); and,
WHEREAS, Joseph has held several scout leadership positions from scribe to assistant senior patrol leader; and,
WHEREAS, in addition to his scouting accomplishments, Joseph has achieved great success academically at Raytown South High School where he holds a grade point average of 3.655 and ranks 28th in his class of 342 students; and,
WHEREAS, Joseph was recently accepted into the prestigious Lee's Summit Technology Academy where he will begin his studies in the field of engineering in the fall of 2006; and,
WHEREAS, Joseph is an accomplished athlete, having received a silver medal at an invitational competition in discus, a provisional varsity football letter, and a varsity wrestling letter; and,
WHEREAS, Joseph is a member of the Raytown South High School Orchestra where he plays cello, and has donated countless hours to serving his community both individually and through his youth group at the One Spirit United Methodist Church; now therefore,
