WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 31-99 for the repair and replacement of fencing at the Frank White Jr. and 140th and Holmes softball complexes; and,

WHEREAS, he has received as the highest three bids thereon, bids from the following:
VENDOR Commission
Mac's Fence, Inc. $14,644.00
Kansas City, KS

Mann Fence Company, Inc. $17,530.00
Olathe, KS

Guier Fence Company, Inc. $18,335.00
Blue Springs, MO



and,

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Mac's Fence, Inc., of Kansas City, KS, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the County Executive and Purchasing Director be, and are hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
