Body
WHEREAS, the COMBAT Commission is co-sponsoring with Comprehensive Mental Health Services, Inc., a cultural diversity workshop for providers of COMBAT; and,
WHEREAS, this workshop will be led by Daniel P. Card II, an attorney with expertise on legal aspects of treating addiction, who will present information on negligence and malpractice litigation, areas of potential liability, confidentiality, duty to warn, ethical dilemmas, and dealing with managed care; and,
WHEREAS, the attached Agreement sets out the rights and obligations of the parties; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and is authorized to execute the attached agreement with Comprehensive Mental Health Services, Inc.; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the Agreement...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
