Body
WHEREAS, Missouri Gas Energy of Kansas City, MO, has submitted a request for permanent easement for the continued operation and maintenance of a regulator and meter station on county park property near Alex George Lake located within the Blue River Parkway; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation has reviewed the easement request and has no objection; and,
WHEREAS, Missouri Gas Energy will pay the County a fee in the amount of $1,005.00 for the grant of the easement; and,
WHEREAS, the granting of this easement is in the best interests of the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached permanent easement agreement with Missouri Gas Energy of Kansas City, MO.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
