Body
WHEREAS, the County desires to provide animal control/sheltering services for specified fees payable to the County through use of the County's contractors; and,
 
WHEREAS, the cities of Buckner, Greenwood, Levasy, Lone Jack, Sibley and Unity Village, MO, desire the County to continue providing animal control/sheltering services; and,
WHEREAS, these services are in accordance with the provisions of the Revised Statutes of the State of Missouri; now therefore,
 
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the extension and renewal of the attached animal control/shelter services contracts with the cities of Buckner, Greenwood, Levasy, Lone Jack, Sibley, and Unity Village, MO, be and hereby are approved.
 
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
