Body
WHEREAS, pursuant to section 9057. of the Jackson County Code, the County Legislator for the Second District, Kenneth T. Bacchus, serves as chair of the Housing Resources Commission; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to section 9059. of the code, Legislator Bacchus has ratified the appointment of James D. Tindall as secretary to the Housing Resources Commission and recommends that the Legislature approve the appointment as provided in section 9059; and,
WHEREAS, such approval is in the best interests of the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the appointment of James D. Tindall as secretary to the Housing Resources Commission be and hereby is approved.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
