WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 147-95 for the furnishing of silicon file servers for use by the Management Information Systems Department; and,
WHEREAS, the only bid received was from Total Systems, Inc. of Lenexa, KS; and,
WHEREAS, he has recommended that award be made to Total Systems, Inc. of Lenexa, KS, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; and,
WHEREAS, in order to fund this purchase, it is necessary that unspent funds originally appropriated for this purpose in 1995 be reappropriated; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following reappropriation be made from the unappropriated surplus of the 1996 General Fund:

Unappropriated Surplus $57,640
Division of Finance
Management Information System Unappropriated Surplus $57,640
and,
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract...Attorney
Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its passage by the County Executive.
