Body
WHEREAS, by Ordinance 4085, dated February 2, 2009, the County Legislature did authorize the execution of agreements with certain outside agencies for anti-drug prevention activities and purposes, which included Eastern Jackson County Youth Court and Independence Youth Court; and,
WHEREAS, the funding requested would restore both agencies to 2008 funding levels; and,
WHEREAS, in order to restore these funds, a transfer is necessary; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends this transfer; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer within the 2009 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund be and hereby is made:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute addenda to the agreements with Eastern Jackson County Youth Court, at a cost to the County not to exceed $7,598.00, and Independence Youth Court, at a cost to the County not to exceed $9,396.00; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the addenda.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
