WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works has solicited proposals under the terms and conditions of Request for Proposals No. 3137 for on-call geotechnical material testing and inspection services; and,

WHEREAS, a total of twenty-nine (29) solicitations were distributed, and six (6) proposals were received with the three (3) lowest proposals as follows:

WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends the award of a twenty-four (24) month term and supply contract with one (1) twelve (12) month option to extend for the furnishing of geotechnical testing services for the Public Works Department with Professional Services Industry, Inc., of Kansas City, KS, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; and,

WHEREAS, this award is made on an as needed basis and does not obligate the County to pay any specific amount; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing and that the Director be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of this award; and,
