Body
WHEREAS, Alta Vista High School student Antonio Battaglia Camacho has successfully completed all requirements to attain Scouting's highest honor, the rank of Eagle Scout, and will be recognized on November 8, 2009, at 12:30 p.m., at Holy Rosary Catholic Church; and,
WHEREAS, Antonio began scouting as a Cub Scout in Pack 4165; and,
WHEREAS, Antonio is currently a member of Troop 1165, is a "Warrior" in the Tribe of Mic-O-Say Boy Scout Honor Program, his tribal name is "Midnight Crow," and he has earned a total of 23 merit badges; and,
WHEREAS, for his Eagle Scout project, Antonio refurbished a classroom at Budd Park Christian Church; and,
WHEREAS, Antonio's mother, Angel Battaglia, joins in Antonio's celebration of this honor; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature hereby congratulates Antonio Battaglia Camacho upon successfully completing all requirements to attain Scouting's highest honor, the rank of Eagle Scout, and extends well-deserved recognition for his contributions to the Jackson County community.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
