Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 12424, dated November 10, 1998, a contract with Galva Foam Marine Industries, Inc., of Camdenton, MO, for repairs to Longview and Blue Springs Lake Marinas at the Parks and Recreation Department was approved; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to increase this contract in the amount of $127,995.62 to cover the cost of emergency repairs to the Longview Lake Marina occasioned by recent storm damage; and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended the increase to this contract; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the increase to the contract be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the increase; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
