Body
WHEREAS, maintenance agreements for certain elevators at the Kansas City Courthouse expired as of August 15, 1995; and,
WHEREAS, agreements for maintenance on the balance of the County's elevators will expire as of December 31, 1995; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Purchasing recommends the procurement of elevator maintenance from Montgomery KONE, Inc., of Kansas City, MO, to cover those that have expired for the period of August 15 through December 31, 1995, allowing the County to then award contracts as of January 1, 1996, for all of the County's elevator maintenance under one bid which will result in a lower overall cost to the County; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Director of Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
