Body
WHEREAS, the Jackson County Parks + Rec has been awarded a grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation as part of the Kansas City Monuments Coalition program in the amount of $104,928.00, to provide funding for restoration and preservation improvements to Missouri Town Living History Museum; and,
WHEREAS, the grant is awarded for the period of January 1, 2025, through January 15, 2026; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place the grant funds in the appropriate spending accounts; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriations from the undesignated fund balance of the 2025 Grant Fund be and hereby are made:
