Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Electronic Solicitation No. BB200321 for the furnishing of LP (propane) gas for use the Sheriff's Office and Parks and Recreation Department to provide for their needs for the upcoming one-year period; and,
WHEREAS, the only bid received was from Ray-Carroll Fuels, LLC, of Richmond, MO; and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Ray-Carroll Fuels, LLC, of Richmond, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent sufficient appropriations to the using spending agencies have heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
