Body
WHEREAS, the County did, by Resolution 10865, dated June 5, 1995, enter into a contract with Superior-Bowen Asphalt Company of Kansas City, MO, in the amount of $1,294,230.53, for the 1995 Road Surface Rehabilitation Project, No. 2320; and,
WHEREAS, the proposed Change Order No. 1, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, is necessary to increase and decrease certain quantities in order to maximize the road reconstruction and rehabilitate Alley-Jackson Road, and said change order will result in an increase not to exceed $52,575.71; and,
WHEREAS, transfers within the 1995 Special road and Bridge Fund are necessary to accomplish this increase; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends such transfers; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfers be made within the 1995 Special road and Bridge Fund:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.
