Body
WHEREAS, Miriam Hennosy performed administrative services to assist in the transition of the Temporary County Executive and the Interim County Executive Team; and,
WHEREAS, given that Ms. Hennosy was essential in the transition, compensation is necessary for the services that were performed in her temporary position; and,
WHEREAS a contract for up to $5000 was initially signed with the belief that her services would be more limited, but it was later determined that the County would benefit from her additional assistance.
WHEREAS, the execution of an agreement with Miriam Hennosy is in the best interests of the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Miriam Hennosy, in a form to be approved by the County Counselor, at a cost to the County not to exceed $5,800.00; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Interim Director of Finance and Purchasing be and is hereby authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the agreement.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
