Body
WHEREAS, it was Bulldog vs. Bulldog and in the end, the Grandview High School Lady Bulldogs made history by winning the Class 5 State Quarterfinals over the Kearney Bulldogs; and,
WHEREAS, this incredible team is making history as the first Grandview High School girls’ basketball team ever to head to the State Championship; and,
WHEREAS, they will be competing in the Final Four in Columbia, MO; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Grandview is incredibly proud of this team as well as their amazing coach; and,
WHEREAS, Coach Stuart Wright was recently celebrated for his 100th career win an incredible milestone that is a testament to his leadership, dedication, and commitment to student athletes; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED the Jackson County Legislature recognizes the Grandview Girls Varsity Basketball Team on their great accomplishments and being led by Coach Stuart.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
