BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "A" (Agricultural) District and the "RE" (Residential Estates) District so that there will be transferred from District A to District RE a 3 ñ acre tract of land described as follows:

DESCRIPTION: Requesting an Ordinance amending the zoning districts established by the Unified Development Code by rezoning a certain 3 ñ acres from District A (Agricultural) to RE (Residential Estates) District.

A 3 ñ acre tract of land generally located ¬ of a mile west of Fristoe Road on the north side of Major Road and specifically described as beginning at the southwest corner of the Northeast Quarter of said Section 15; thence North 01 47'22" East along the west line of said quarter Section, a distance of 450.03 feet; thence South 87 32'15" East, a distance of 228.02 feet; thence South 42 52'26" East, a distance of 95.31 feet; thence South 01 47'22" West, a distance of 383.03 feet to a point on the south line of said quarter section; thence North 87 32'15" West along said south line, a distance of 295.02 feet to the Point of Beginning.

Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Ben Richardson (RZ-99-152), requesting the amendment embodied in this ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission unanimously recommended this application in a public hearing on May 20, 1999, does adopt this ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zon...
