Body
WHEREAS, David Harris, Chief Environmentalist for the Development Division of the Public Works Department, devoted 17 years of professionalism, dedication, and leadership to the department; and,
WHEREAS, David worked on numerous significant projects for the County including coordinating the efforts to develop a regional animal shelter for the entire County, the Rotating Weekend Recycling Program, the Waste Minimization Project, development of on-site sewage disposal rules and regulations, and the coordination with the City of Kansas City for the take-over and maintenance of the Blue Summit sanitary sewers; and,
WHEREAS, his devotion and commitment to his official duties, his determination to serve others, and his pleasant demeanor have been valued by his fellow employees; and,
WHEREAS, David Harris is leaving Jackson County to pursue a new career where he will continue to use his skills; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature hereby commends David Harris on his 17 years of dedicated professional service to the County, and wishes him well in his future endeavors...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
