Body
WHEREAS, Swope Parkway Health Center has submitted a proposal for funding in 2002 from the Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund to provide comprehensive substance abuse treatment and mental health services to clients of the Jackson County Mental Health Court, in the amount of $143,750.00; and,
WHEREAS, the Prosecuting Attorney has reviewed the proposal submitted by Swope Parkway Health Center and recommends funding in 2002; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive is hereby authorized to enter into the attached Agreement with Swope Parkway Health Center; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the Agreement.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
