INTRODUCED BY John C. Graham, County Legislator

Body
WHEREAS, it was with great sorrow that family and friends learned of the death of F. David Ingram; and,

WHEREAS, since 1986, David had worked for the Public Works Department as a sewer maintenance technician in the Environmental Services Section of the Development Division; and,

WHEREAS, David's fellow workers will cheerfully remember David for his friendly manner and positive outlook on life; and,

WHEREAS, when greeting people on the job, he would always comment, "Hello, I'm David Ingram" and, in parting, would sincerely say, "Have a nice day;" and,

WHEREAS, David touched his fellow workers' hearts to such a degree that they have planted a tree in his memory at the Parks and Recreation Department's administration building in Fleming Park; and,


WHEREAS, David was always readily on the job and willing to do whatever was asked of him, even volunteering to do more than asked; and,

WHEREAS, David was an elder and Stephen minister of the First Christian Church of Independence, Missouri; and,

WHEREAS, David was an Air Force veteran, Grand Orator of Grand Lodge AF&AM of the State of Missouri, past master of Mount Washington Masonic Lodge, past high priest and secretary of Mount Washington Chapter 142, Royal Arch Masons, officer of Independence Council 49 Cryptic Masons, Generalissmo Palestine Commandry 17, Mary Conclave Red Cross of Constatine, Harry S. Truman York Rite College, Ararat Shrine Temple, and Blue Springs Shrine Club; and,

WHEREAS, his other organizational memberships included the Jackson County Historical Society, the Bingham Waggoner Historical Society, the Vaile Mansion Victorian Society, and the Jackson County Archives;...
