Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 10349, dated May 31, 1994, the Legislature authorized the County to enter into an agreement with the Missouri Highway and Transportation Department for the replacement of the Buckner Tarsney Road Bridge, Project No. 2264; and,
WHEREAS, the design of the project requires the relocation of a gas main owned by Missouri Gas Energy, at a cost to the County not to exceed $25,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, to effect this relocation, the County and Missouri Gas Energy have negotiated the attached agreement; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri that the attached agreement is hereby approved, and that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute the attached agreement on behalf of the County; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the Agreement...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
