WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 52-99 for the furnishing of two bottom dump trailer for use by the Public Works Department; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest two bids thereon bids from the following:
VENDOR BID
Dean Machinery Co. $58,378.00
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO
Highway Trailer Sales, Inc. $53,199.90
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO
and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director recommends that award be made to Dean Machinery Co. of Kansas City, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid meeting all specifications; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract...Attorney
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
