Body
WHEREAS, the Information Technology Department has certain surplus computer hardware that has become obsolete, further described and itemized in the lists attached hereto; and,
WHEREAS, the Information Technology Department has found a no-cost option to appropriately recycle these items consistent with the requirements of Chapter 11, Jackson County Code, 1984; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends that said property be declared surplus; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the property within the Information Technology Department, further described and itemized in the attached lists, be and hereby is declared surplus, and that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to dispose of it pursuant to Chapter 11, Jackson County Code, 1984.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
