WHEREAS, by Ordinance 3685, dated October 3, 2005, the County did appropriate $717,000.00 from the unappropriated surplus the 2005 Special Road and Bridge Fund, representing funds paid by the City of Lee's Summit in connection with a cooperative agreement relating to Blackwell Road and Woods Chapel Road public improvement projects; and,
WHEREAS, due to delays in federal funding, it was necessary to delay the Woods Chapel Road Project until 2006, further necessitating the reappropriation of the funds paid by the City of Lee's Summit, which were not carried over in the County's 2006 annual budget; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following reappropriation be and hereby is made from the unappropriated surplus of the 2006 Special Road and Bridge Fund:
