Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 48-95 for a term and supply contract for the furnishing of janitorial supplies and equipment for use county-wide to pro ide for county-wide needs for the upcoming one-year period; and,

WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon bids from the following:

VENDOR Perfection Industrial Distributors Kansas City (Jackson County), MO

Swiss Chemical Kansas City (Jackson County), MO

KC Sanitary Supply Company Kansas City (Jackson County), MO

and,

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Perfection Industrial Distr butors of Kansas City, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid as set for h in the attached recapitulation; therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recomm nded by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payme ts, including final payment on the contract, to the extent sufficient appropriations to the using pending agencies have heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget.
Attorney Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of he Legislature....
