Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Electronic Solicitation No. BB200389 for the furnishing and installation of two mower decks for use by the Public Works Department; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the only two bids thereon bids from the following:

Harrisonville Contractor $23,584.00
Harrisonville, MO
Murphy Tractor & Equipment $27,792.00
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO
and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Murphy Tractor & Equipment of Kansas City, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and bid meeting specifications as set out in the attached recapitulation and analysis; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
