Body
WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1011., Jackson County Code, 1984, a vendor is barred from a contract award if such vendor has provided services for a fee in connection with the development of the contract's specifications, unless the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends, and the Legislature specifically finds, that the award of such contact is in the County's best interests; and,
WHEREAS, Dimensional Innovations, Inc., has provided services for a fee in connection with the development of the specifications for interpretive museum exhibits for the Ft. Osage Education Center; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends that Dimensional Innovations, Inc., due to its experience in the field, be considered an approved vendor and eligible for award of this contract, if its bid is determined to be the lowest and best bid; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that Dimensional Innovations, Inc., be and hereby is designated as an approved vendor and eligible for award of the contract for fabrication of interpretive museum exhibits if its bid is determined to be the lowest and best bid, as such award, in that event, would be in the best interests of the County.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
