Body
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 36-01 for the furnishing of one front mount mower, for use by the Parks and Recreation Department; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon bids from the following:
VENDOR AWARD
Lawn and Leisure $13,270.00
Lee's Summit, MO
Harrisonville Tractor $14,950.00
Harrisonville, MO
Great American Turf $14,975.00
Kansas City (Jackson County), MO
and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Lawn and Leisure of Lee's Summit, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
