WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has solicited formal written bids on Bid No. 49-94 for a term and supply contract for the furnishing of welding gasses and supplies for use county-wide to provi e for needs for the upcoming one-year period; and,
WHEREAS, he has received as the lowest three bids thereon bids from the following:

Brown Air Products 123.58 Independence, MO
and,
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director has recommended that award be made to Oxygen Service Co. of Kansas City, MO for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Purchasing Director, and that the Purchasing Director be, and is hereby, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Manager of the Division of Finance is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent sufficient appropriations to he using spending agencies have heretofore been made in the current Jackson County budget.
