WHEREAS, a transfer in the amount of $15,500.00 is necessary to cover the balance of the cost of a $25,000.00 Professional Services Agreement entered into by the County at the request of the Sheriff's Office for a consultant to perform location and investigation services regarding non-compliance with the Sexual Offender Registration Act (SORA), a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive has recommended said transfer; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer be and hereby is made:
