Body
WHEREAS, the County has been awarded a grant in the amount of $200,000.00 from the United States Department of Justice to fund the County's Drug Court Enhancement Program; and,

WHEREAS, this grant is subject to a $75,000 local match; and,

WHEREAS, an appropriation from the unappropriated surplus of the 1998 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund is necessary to place the grant and matching funds in the proper accounts; and,

WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends this transfer; therefore,

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be made from the unappropriated surplus of the 1998 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund:
